When Pam East configured her Core Base Tray, she selected the SlipFit™ inserts that made sense for the way she works. The result is a wonderfully packed little command center that uses different heights, cavities, slots, and risers to organize a surprising number of tools in one 180 × 90 mm footprint.

Tall brushes and hand tools can live toward the back. Gauges, cards, files, and detail tools have dedicated spaces. Open bins and utility cups catch those odds and ends that never seem to have a home. Risers and Riser-Cups add height where Pam wants it, creating a tiered arrangement that keeps shorter tools from disappearing behind taller ones.

Why Pam Chose This Configuration

What I especially like about this kit is that it doesn’t depend on one kind of holder doing all the work.

Pam mixed open storage, precision holders, flat-tool organizers, cups, divided spaces, and multiple heights. That gives the tray somewhere to put both the easy-to-organize tools and all those weird little things that normally end up scattered across the bench.

The risers are an important part of the setup, too. They let you build upward instead of simply filling every available inch of the tray at the same height. The result is the almost “stadium seating” effect you can see in Pam’s loaded configuration—more tools remain visible and within reach.
