MARX Long Tray Kit

Michael J. Marx creates what he calls wearable sculpture. His pieces are full of texture, detail, and unexpected forms. When he arranged a SlipFit™ tray for his own bench, he chose a mix of compartments that could handle the many different tools and small items involved in that kind of work.

The Michael Marx Workbench Setup lets you start with his configuration. Ten selected SlipFit™ inserts fill the 60 × 240 × 45 mm Long Base Tray with round holders, divided spaces, slots for flatter tools, and places for precision tools. Everything has a spot, but you can move the inserts around whenever your project—or your process—calls for a change.

You don’t have to work exactly like Michael to appreciate a bench that’s ready for more than one kind of idea. And if you do love exploring texture and fine detail, you may feel right at home here.

Michael’s arrangement is a starting point, not a rule. Rearrange the inserts to suit your tools, swap in other compatible SlipFit™ inserts, or change the layout as your work evolves. That’s the fun of a modular bench: it can keep up with you.
