Dual-Purpose Water & Prep Tray

These water trays are a thoughtfully designed product created specifically for metal clay artists during the preparation and layering stage.

Features two functional compartments:

• One side holds water for rinsing your brush with a divider for ‘dirty water’
• The opposite side houses a removable sponge, allowing you to blot excess moisture so your brush is perfectly damp—not dripping—when applying clay or slip
• Tray neatly rests inside inside open lid

What truly sets this piece apart is its multi-functional lid!

One side of the lid features hexagonal ventilation holes, allowing the sponge to air-dry when the tray is closed for storage or travel—no trapped moisture, no musty sponge. For a clean pure look in white, you would choose the tray that provides an open Hex-shaped side and one side that is flat. Conversely,  with our blue tray you’ll find eight shallow hex-shaped depressions, ideal for holding gemstones, findings, or small components while you work. Need room on your workbench? You can store the lid under the water tray!
