Risers and Riser-Cups

One footprint. Seven heights. A whole new level of organization.

SlipFit™ 30 mm Risers were created to solve a simple problem: sometimes the tool you need is sitting behind something else.

By raising individual SlipFit™ inserts, Risers let you create a tiered workspace that improves visibility and keeps frequently used tools easier to see and reach. Mix different heights to create your own customized arrangement instead of being locked into a single flat level.

And then the idea evolved.

The taller Riser-Cups are hollow, so they can do double duty. Place one beneath a compatible insert to add height, or turn it open-side-up and use the interior as a small storage cup for burrs, bits, findings, small tools and all those little things that otherwise wander around the workbench.

Because every Maker works differently, there isn’t one “correct” arrangement. Risers give you another dimension to work with—up.

Choose Your Height

All seven options have the same 30 × 30 mm footprint:

• 10, 15 & 20 mm Risers
  Ideal for subtle elevation and creating graduated rows within a tray.
• 30, 35, 45 & 60 mm Riser-Cups
  Provide greater elevation while adding the option of open storage when used cup-side-up.

Why Use a Riser?

Use them to raise back-row inserts for better visibility, create staggered or stadium-style tool organization, bring frequently used tools closer to hand, compensate for inserts of different heights, or turn a Riser-Cup into independent storage.

They can be rearranged whenever your tools—or the way you work—change.

Your workspace doesn’t have to stay flat.

The SlipFit™ Riser began with a request from one of our Canadian Maker friends, Susan. She wanted to raise the back row of inserts in her tray so she could better see and access her tools.

That simple request became the first Riser—and eventually helped inspire entirely new ways of configuring the SlipFit™ system.

That’s how we like to design: solve a real problem at a real workbench, then see where Makers take the idea next.

We may not even know all the ways Risers will eventually be used. That’s part of the fun.
